We are happy to announce the next release of GeoKey today. This release introduces subsets and improvements to existing features.
We are happy to announce GeoKey 0.6 today. For this release, we mainly focussed on simplifying GeoKey’s functionality both for project administrators and developers using our API.
We are happy to announce the release of version 0.5 today. Functionality-wise, this version does not introduce anything new. However, we have made two major changes:
We are happy to officially announce the EpiCollect extension for GeoKey. EpiCollect is a mobile and web application to collect data using bespoke forms. This extension allows you to use EpiCollect’s mobile client to collect data for GeoKey.
We are happy to announce the release of version 0.4 of Geokey. As the project matures we introduce less new features and focus on stabilising the code base, hence this release includes mainly bug fixes and security updates.
In version 0.3 we introduced a hook for custom extensions into GeoKey that allows you to add bespoke functionality to GeoKey. This can be special API endpoints for an existing client application, scripts for data import or additional administration panels to organise and manage your projects.
We are happy to announce the first release of 2015 today. We fixed a long list of bugs and introduced new features.
While developing GeoKey we fell in love with Vagrant because it simplified the way we setup and share development environments. With Vagrant we were able to deploy a complete development environment in less then ten minutes.
Following our initial release, we’re happy to announce the first GeoKey Code Sprint coming up at the end of November in London. Join us for one day of food and fun, to help us grow GeoKey.
Today, we are proud to announce the official release of GeoKey, a new approach to support participatory mapping.
